- Provides services to children and youth who may have a previous mental health diagnosis, are experiencing significant challenges coping with their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, or are experiencing mental health challenges that are affecting their ability to function in the school setting - Services can be moderate in duration and intensity, but may also include longer-term service for youth requiring more support - School-Based Mental Health Counsellors are able to offer assessment, individual and group counselling, integrated case management and consultation services
